Job title: Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bangalore/Noida
Summary
This is for the position of a Senior Technical person who will have responsibilities to manage Infrastructure & regular activities like deployment, management & maintenance of applications used for HW Design data management. These applications include tools used for Product lifecycle management, HW design workspace management, configuration management & quality management. The candidate should have an ability to grasp new technologies quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Regular management & maintenance of Application Infrastructure.
- Regular pro-active monitoring of Application Infrastructure.
- Release deployment of application changes to different application environments.
- Regularly participate and suggest configurations updates to improve performance.
- Help support regular patching activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation wherever possible.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant technical experience is must.
- Good experience with Linux is must.
- Good experience of managing Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat) is must.
- Knowledge of Version control system (SVN, GIT) is must.
- Experience working on AWS is must.
- Experience working with Apache load balancer implementation, SSL, LDAP, SMTP will be a plus.
- Experience of Database and scripting languages (Shell script, PERL, PHP) will be a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, logical & debugging skills is must.
- Must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with customer-oriented support, being pro-active.
- Used to working in global environment and also should be adaptable to learn new skills and follow industry trends.
