Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, with expertise in both Google Cloud and AWS. This role involves implementing DevOps processes from scratch, building CI/CD pipelines, managing integrations, patching, VPN management, log management and ensuring comprehensive security measures. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing security and compliance regulations including InfoSec, ISO, PCI, and SOC. A high level of ownership, bias for action, zeal for growth, and self-learning are essential qualities for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
  • Integrate various tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Manage patching, VPN, and other infrastructure components to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard the infrastructure and data.
  • Ensure compliance with InfoSec, ISO, PCI, SOC, and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill their infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Work with vendors and managed service providers to optimize solutions and services.
  • Analyze and recommend cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Research and evaluate new tools in the market for automation.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrate high ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-learning within the team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on cloud architecture.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification is required.
  • Hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (InfoSec, ISO, PCI, SOC).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and technologies, such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Jenkins, Git.
  • Strong experience working with vendors and managed service providers.
  • Strong ability to analyze and recommend cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Process-driven with high ownership and bias for action.
  • Obsession for technology and continuous learning.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the fintech domain.
  • Certifications in Google Cloud and/or AWS.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
