Job Title: Network/IT Engineer (MFT Solutions Specialist / Managed File Transfer Expert (MoveIT Focus)Location: Work from Home (Onshore)Work Mode: Remote / Work from HomeWork Hours: IST 4:00 AM to 1:00 PMExperience: 8+ YearsProfile Outline:We are seeking a highly skilled Application Configuration Specialist with extensive experience in implementing and managing Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, particularly MoveIT. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects within scope, time, and budget, and possess the ability to devise compliant solutions addressing security findings, penetration test results, and threat and vulnerability assessments (TVRA). This role requires out-of-the-box thinking to close off findings related to internal or external audit and security reviews.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the implementation, configuration, and management of MoveIT or other MFT solutions, ensuring secure and reliable file transfer capabilities aligned with business needs.- Review security findings (from penetration testing, TVRA, audit reports) and develop compliant, risk-mitigating solutions within or outside the MoveIT environment.- Configure and deploy MFT applications, adhering to organizational standards and security policies.- Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to understand security requirements and design effective mitigation strategies.- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, VB) for automation, monitoring, and configuration tasks.- Understand and implement file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) securely and effectively.- Review internal control standards and assist in developing solutions to close identified gaps.- Manage multiple MFT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.- Document configurations, best practices, and solution approaches for audit and compliance purposes.- Stay updated with industry best practices, threats, and new features related to MFT solutions.Key Skills & Qualifications:- Extensive hands-on experience with MoveIT implementations, configuration, and management.- Proven ability to configure and deploy MFT solutions in large, enterprise environments.- Deep understanding of File Transfer Protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS.- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and VB for automation and customization.- Ability to interpret security findings and design compliant solutions to mitigate risks.- Experience in reviewing and aligning solutions with Internal Control Standards and security frameworks.- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with Security, Architecture, Compliance, and Data Governance teams.- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
