Infosys Consulting is hiring for Senior Consultant / Principal - Business Consulting- Financial Services- Cards and Payments


Primary locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida, Pune

Other locations: Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mysore, Mangalore

What are we looking for?


We are looking for smart, self-driven, high energy people with top notch communication skills, intellectual curiosity and passion for excellence. Our consultants have a blend of in-depth domain expertise, strong business consulting skills and excellent soft skills. We are looking for people with a deep understanding of financial services and in-depth expertise in Payments & Cards domain within Financial Services , with experience in one or more of the following areas:


Domain Expertise in one or more of the following areas:


▪ Payments Functional architects:

- E2E payments solution design encompassing Banks, non-Banking entities.

- Payments operations efficiency, Modernization strategy, Target architecture blue prints (tech + Business).

- Product management (driving business growth, capabilities addition etc.)

- Product/solution envisioning, co-creation with Fintechs et al.,

- ISO 20022

- COTS products experience would be nice to have.


▪ Product specialists:

- Payments consultants with Business Analysis & Product implementation consulting experience.

- Experience with products such as GPP FUSION, Clear2pay, FIS, Dovetail, FISERV, TSYS, Adyen / Worldpay / PayPal / Stripe.

- Having performed at least one full cycle of product implementation.


▪ Payments strategy and business architecture:

- Global payments experiences encompassing various across products, across payments value chain.

- Having exposure to latest trends in payments and payment regulations.

- Payments operations efficiency, Modernization strategy, Target architecture blue prints (tech + Business).

- Product management (driving business growth, capabilities addition etc.).

- Product/solution envisioning, co-creation with Fintechs et al.,


▪ Fintech specialists:

- Work experience with a variety of Fintechs or have leveraged the presence of Fintechs driving transformation engagements with bank or large corporate enterprise

- Fintech partnerships, Fintech collaboration for digital payments transformation for Banks and non-Banking entities


▪ Payments specialists across industries:

- Having payments experience working for industry segments such as Insurance, Oil and Gas, Asset Management, Telecom.

- Payments operations efficiency, Modernization strategy, Target architecture blueprints (tech + Business).

- Product management (driving business growth, capabilities addition etc.)

- Product/solution envisioning, co-creation with Fintechs et al.,


▪ Program Management & Delivery

- Experience of running consulting engagements or delivery programs as a Functional Leader or Functional Program Manager covering one or more capabilities within the Payments domain


• Business Strategy, IT Strategy, Process Consulting, Cost Optimization, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation, Program Management, Change Management, Product Implementation, Business Analysis and Post-merger Integration.

• Consulting & advisory experience with top-tier consulting organizations strongly preferred

• Full time MBA from top-tier business schools.

• Driving digital strategy for FSI clients using key emerging technologies likes Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Omni/Conversational Channels, Cloud, Blockchain, Social & Mobility.

• Industry Certifications: TOGAF certifications, Certifications from SWIFT/BIAN would be a great asset.


What will you do?


At Infosys Consulting, you will:

• Work on business consulting engagements as part of a cross-cultural team across regions.

• Take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, functional consulting, tech strategy, program management and change management.

• Analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out-of-the-box.

• Apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems

• Be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients.

• Lead workshops to collaborate with client stakeholders and educate them throughout the process.

• Lead / contribute to sales pursuits, consulting offerings and internal initiatives.

• Participate in a variety of Firm building events and the consultant referral program.
