RoleDescription
  • Thisis a fulltime remote role for a Java Developer.
  • The Java Developer will be responsible forarchitecting designing and developing solutions usingJava Spring Hibernate and other opensourcetechnologies writing clean efficient and maintainablecode and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to identify andprioritise projects and features.
  • The JavaDeveloper will also be responsible for debugging and solvingcomplex technical issues and ensuring that the products aredelivered on time and meet qualitystandards.
  • Will have to write complex code tointeract with the blockchain effectively andefficiently.
  • The Java Developer will have towork independently and take full responsibility and ownership ofthe backend systems while possessing strong analytical andleadership skills to step up and lead crossfunctional techteams.
Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or relatedfield
  • Minimum of 3.5 years of experience inJava development
  • Indepth knowledge andunderstanding of Java and Java EE
  • Excellentanalytical problemsolving and troubleshootingskills
  • Ability and willingness to take completeownership and responsibility for the product backend with aproductfirst mindset
  • Ability to work bothindependently and as part of ateam
  • Understanding of relational databases(Oracle SQL Server DB2)
  • Agile experience withapplication servers and web applicationservers
  • Database design and administrationskills
  • Ability to write clean efficient andmaintainable code
  • Ability to debug and solvecomplex technical issues
  • Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills
  • Strong teamwork andcommunication skills
  • Knowledge of blockchaintechnology architecture and integration/interaction withJava
  • Experience with AWS or other cloudplatforms is aplus
