Job Overview:

Are you passionate about architecture and ready to make your mark in the industry? SGA is seeking talented Business Development Managers to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are able to work as part of a team and are able to research and identify potential new opportunities. You will be part of a larger team working on large scale national projects such as Institutional, Healthcare, Commercial, Offices, Residential, Airports and Railway Stations. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects awarded through National and Global competitions, collaborate with a diverse team throughout our nation-wide projects and contribute to the creation of innovative and sustainable designs that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordination and networking with Government as well as private bodies.- Identification of Potential Clients.- Generate leads for the firm.- Understand the needs of your client and be able to respond effectively with a plan.- Searching and analysis of tender and making a summary report.- Detailed review of Tender documents.- Attending Pre-bid meetings with Client.- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the architectural field.- Design Briefing & Presentations.- Negotiation with clients.- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Job Requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to give presentations by themselves.- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.- Team working skills and a collaborative approach to work.- On the spot decision-making abilities.- Project management and organizational skills.- Ability to analyse figures and write reports.- Strong negotiating skills.- Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualifications:

- MBA preferred with background in Marketing.- B.Arch with background in Business Development in architectural or design firms.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 years of full time experience, preferably in architectural design and project management in a firm handling large scale projects.
