System management: Develop, maintain, and manage the organization's Management Information Systems. This includes troubleshooting issues and ensuring systems run efficiently. Project management: Lead IT-related projects, setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring successful implementation. Technical expertise: Provide technical guidance on the development and implementation of information systems, staying current with new technologies. Collaboration and communication: Work with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. Train staff on how to use data management tools.  Essential skills Technical skills: Proficiency in data analysis, database management, and tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is often required. Knowledge of machine learning libraries is a plus. Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze complex data and solve problems related to information systems is crucial. Communication and leadership: Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff, present findings clearly, and provide leadership for projects. Project management skills: The ability to manage projects, allocate resources, and meet deadlines is a key component of the role.
