Summary: -
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Zonal Sales Head to lead our Sales efforts across the North Zone. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the Plywood and Decorative Laminates industry, paired with strategic sales expertise and a strong track record of delivering results. This role requires proactive leadership, excellent market insight, and the ability to execute sales strategies that align with our broader business objectives.
Candidates having experience in Decorative Laminate, Plywood, MDF & Wood Panel Industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities: -
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets across the assigned region.
- Analyse regional market trends, customer needs, risks and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
- Drive sales growth by focusing on key OEM customers in plywood and laminates.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, architects, and contractors, and customers to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any concerns or escalations.
- Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer management.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaigns, promotions, and brand positioning strategies.
- Prepare and monitor sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of experience in Sales Management within Decorative Laminates & Wood Panel Industry.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the north market, with existing relationships in the industry preferred.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
