We're Hiring: Copywriter + Creative Strategist

Location: Saki Naka, Mumbai (On-site)

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Work Days: Alternate Saturdays off

Salary: ₹25K–35K/month

At Cutting Fillum Entertainment, we don't just cut and export we craft stories that move people . We're looking for a Video Editor who's not afraid of timelines, lives inside Premiere Pro & After Effects, and thinks transitions are emotions.

You Don't Just Write. You Think. You Build. You Create

At Cutting Fillum, we aren't looking for someone who just knows their grammar. We're looking for a copywriter who gets brands , questions briefs , and tells stories that stick . Someone who can take a boring product and turn it into a film people actually watch (and share). Someone who sees strategy where others see just content .

If you're that hybrid — the writer who also thinks in big ideas — we want you at the table.

What You'll Be Doing

Deep Dive, Then Write

Research the hell out of BFSI, Healthcare, EdTech, Petcare (and more) then shape everything into scripts that are sharp, smart, and emotionally engaging.

Own the Video Script Game

From 15-sec reels to 2-minute brand films, if it's video, you'll be writing it. Hooks, VO, dialogues, structure — you're the spine of the story.

Ideate with the Founders

You won't just execute. You'll build . You'll jam directly with the co-founders to brainstorm ideas, campaign concepts, formats, IPs, and more.

Be the Brand's Brain

Strategize content across platforms and brand goals. Think beyond the brief. Sometimes challenge the brief. Make sure every idea has legs (and sometimes wings).

Voice, Tone, Identity

You'll help define and refine how each brand speaks — across content buckets, sectors, and story formats.

  • What You Need to Bring 1.5-2.5 years of solid writing experience (bonus points if you've worked with BFSI or Healthcare brands or Agency experience)
  • Must. Be. Extremely. Fluent. In. English. (Written + Spoken)
  • Should have written video scripts (not just ads or captions) — and understand how words drive visual.
  • Strategic thinking — not just content for the sake of content
  • A curious, collaborative brain that loves to jam, debate, and co-create
  • Able to visualise your words and collaborate with team.
