About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HR Manager to lead our human resources initiatives at Rekise Marine in our Bangalore office. As a rapidly expanding startup, this is an exciting chance to develop and define the people strategy for a leading marine robotics company. You will work closely with the founding members and leadership team to design HR processes, foster a positive work culture, and support the growth of a high-performing team. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our employees feel valued, motivated, and aligned with our mission to revolutionize marine autonomy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a technology-focused or startup environment.
Strong understanding of HR principles, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance.
Roles and responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring. Collaborate with tech / non-tech leads to understand and meet required skills and competencies.
Retention : Implement and manage benefits, compensation, and incentive programs that attract and retain top talent.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new-hire orientations, conduct onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees.
Employee Relations & HR Operations : Handle employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and other HR-related processes. Provide support to employees on various HR topics and ensure a positive workplace environment.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations. Regularly review and update HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.
HR Documentation & Record-Keeping : Manage HR documentation and data management. Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
Office Administration: Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the smooth operation of office functions.
Employee engagement and wellness. Organize regular team meetings, outings, parties, and get-togethers.
Work Culture: Cultivate a positive work culture that emphasizes employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and well-being
Good to Have:
Experience in hiring for technology or robotics-based roles.
Exposure to creating and managing HR analytics and reporting to inform business decisions.
