The Assistant Training Manager Technical Training will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of technical training programs across the organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our facility management teams are equipped with the latest technical skills and knowledge to maintain operational excellence and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and delivering technical training programs for engineering, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Conduct training need analysis (TNA) in collaboration with operations and technical heads.
  • Organize induction training and continuous skill development programs for technical staff and supervisors.
  • Facilitate both classroom and on-the-job training sessions, including demonstrations and hands-on modules.
  • Support the development of e-learning content and training manuals relevant to facility management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, technical vendors, and internal SMEs for advanced training delivery.
  • Ensure training programs are aligned with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS).
  • Assist in upskilling and cross-training initiatives for technical multi-skilling across facilities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into training strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Facilities Management) or related field.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in technical training, preferably in facility management or engineering services.
  • Good understanding of building systems: HVAC, MEP, Fire Fighting, BMS, Energy Management, etc.
  • Experience in preparing training content and using digital learning platforms (LMS, e-learning tools).
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Open to Travel
