We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting principles, hands-on experience in handling accounts in a retail or manufacturing setup, and proficiency in advanced Excel tools. A thorough knowledge of, direct taxation, and MIS reporting is essential.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle all tax regulations (GST/Direct Taxation).
  • Prepare and maintain records of fixed assets, depreciation, and asset tagging.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely MIS reports for management decision-making..
  • Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closings and financial reporting.
  • Support audits (internal, statutory, and tax) by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Leverage advanced Excel features (Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) for financial analysis and automation. Strong MIS Skills.
  • Monitor budgets and assist in variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile ledgers, journals, and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Fixed Asset Register and ensure timely recording of depreciation as per applicable accounting standards and company policy

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Expertise in MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
  • Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills
