Job Brief

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps engineer who will be responsible for helping to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and help us to better understand and serve our clients.

This position will work with local and international clients/colleagues developing global-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Implement CI/CD governance, best practices, principles, processes. cultivate and operationalise a DevOps discipline within the organisation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for development and automation.
  • Hand's on experience on bash, python scripts
  • Should have hand's on experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, git, Gerrit, GitLab)
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix/windows desktop environment.
  • Work with customers to provide visibility and guidance around their AWS cloud services account through regular operational service reviews and reporting.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools-chain (i.e. Jenkins, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Experience AWS is a big plus; AWS Certifications are always a good thing
  • Act as a role model and encourage professional behaviour and honesty
