Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

- Organize and facilitate the effective delivery of psychiatric health services within the hospital.

Strategic Implementation

- Translate the organization's vision and strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring safe and effective psychiatric practices.

Compliance Assurance

- Ensure that all practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards for hospital administration and mental health care.

Policy Development

- Develop and implement policies and programs to streamline hospital administration tasks, including public relations, patient services, and operational efficiency.

Communication Liaison

- Serve as a key liaison between staff, doctors, patients, and management to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

Human Resources Management

- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of hospital staff, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver high-quality psychiatric care and maintain operational efficiency.- Staff Coordination- Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff members, monitor their progress, provide support, and ensure performance meets hospital standards.

Budget Management

- Develop and manage the hospital budget, including accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources to support psychiatric care and operations.

Operational Oversight

- Maintain the financial health and organizational efficiency of the facility, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and comply with health regulations and hospital policies.

Technological Adaptation

- Stay updated on technological advancements in healthcare and implement relevant technologies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Policy and Program Development

- Formulate and implement policies related to patient care, administrative functions, and public relations, ensuring they support the hospital's strategic objectives.

Compliance and Regulation

- Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including those set by medical boards and regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Liaison

- Act as a bridge between staff, doctors, patients, and management, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the hospital.

Qualification & Skills

- Educational Background: Formal education in management (Bachelor’s/Masters in Healthcare or Hospital Administration) or a related field.- Experience: 5+ years in the field, with prior experience as a hospital administrator, preferably in a psychiatric or mental health setting.- Organizational Skills: High-quality organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Customer Management: Proven expertise in managing patient services and enhancing patient satisfaction.- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including patient privacy and safety standards.- Healthcare Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and hospital operations.- Work Hours: Ability to work in shifts as required.- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and prioritize duties.- Infection Control: Knowledge of infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.- Health Promotion and Maintenance: Understanding of basic health promotion principles and practices.- Safety: Ability to create a safe and effective environment for patients.- Communication: Effective communication skills for informing others and working within a team.- Judgement: Good judgement in handling patient care and emergencies.- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff.- Physical Endurance: Capable of performing physical tasks required in patient care and movement.
