Job Overview
Ridhira Retreat is seeking an experienced Resort Sales Manager with a strong background in sales within the hotel or hospitality industry . The ideal candidate will focus on generating revenue by building relationships with clients, increasing bookings, and promoting the resort's unique amenities and services. This role is perfect for a driven, results-oriented sales professional with an excellent customer-service orientation and deep knowledge of the hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to attract target clients, including corporate, leisure, and event groups.
- Work directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve defined sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and analyze competitor offerings.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture relationships with current clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Actively engage new clients, providing comprehensive information about Ridhira Retreats offerings, conducting site visits, and presenting personalized solutions.
- Manage client inquiries efficiently and follow up to secure bookings.
- Revenue Management
- Collaborate with reservations and finance teams to maintain pricing accuracy, optimize room occupancy, and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Monitor room rates, packages, and seasonal offers to maximize profit based on market trends and demand.
- Lead Generation and Conversion
- Proactively generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calls, emails, and digital marketing.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings, demonstrating expertise in closing sales and reaching revenue goals.
- Track and report sales conversion rates, refining strategies to improve results.
- Event and Group Sales
- Work closely with event organizers, wedding planners, and corporate clients to coordinate group reservations and customize event packages.
- Liaise with planning and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of group events, including logistics and on-site support.
- Collaboration with Resort Departments
- Partner with other departments (food and beverage, spa, recreation) to provide seamless, high-quality client experiences aligned with Ridhira Retreat standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote resort activities, special events, and exclusive packages.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, highlighting revenue results and performance metrics.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is required, with a strong preference for experience in resorts, hotels, or luxury properties.
- Skills:
- Outstanding sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and hotel management software.
- Ability to meet sales targets and adapt strategies as needed.
