Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Production Manager with a strong background in nutraceutical manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the formulation and development of various dosage forms, including solid (tablets, capsules), liquid (oral and topical), and semi-solid (topical) forms. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting to Production, R&D, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Regulatory Affairs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the production of nutraceuticals, health supplements, and herbal/ayurvedic formulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop, optimize, and scale-up formulations for tablets, capsules, oral and topical liquids, and semi-solid dosage forms.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless production processes and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality standards throughout production.
  • Review and approve batch production records, and ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase, Account, and Finance departments for smooth procurement and budget management.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with the team to implement solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced operational efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in formulation & development of Nutraceuticals, Health Supplements, FSDU Formulations.
  • Expertise in the development of solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, QC, Purchase/Finance, and Regulatory Affairs).
  • Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
