Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Area Sales Manager - Industrial at Premium Coatings. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence in the Greater Delhi Area. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work being based in the Greater Delhi Area but allowing for some remote work. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial coatings, strong relationship-building skills, conducting sales presentations and negotiations, the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-focused, and possess a proven track record of success in sales.


Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Planning :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.

Customer Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and follow-up meetings to ensure customer satisfaction.

Business Development :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue goals.

Product Knowledge and Training :

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and industry applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on product usage and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and issues.

Team Collaboration :

  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies and objectives.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our products and network with potential customers.

Reporting and Analysis :

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and competitor analysis.


Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience in the industrial sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of industrial coatings and their applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial coatings or related industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience in managing a sales team.
  • Technical background in coatings or related industries.
