Sr Technical Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Network Engineer - Implementation Expert to manage and execute advanced IT networking and security projects. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing network solutions that meet client needs while ensuring robust security measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, proven project management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in diverse client environments. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Travel to client sites to assess network requirements, design appropriate solutions, and carry out implementations. Perform thorough evaluations of existing infrastructure to identify client needs. Network Design and Implementation: Design: Develop network architectures and solutions tailored to client needs. Implementation: Deploy network systems and components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Configuration and Optimization:  Routers: Configure and optimize routing protocols and settings.  Switches: Set up and manage LAN switches, including VLAN configuration.  Firewalls: Implement and configure firewalls to secure network perimeters.  Wireless Access Points: Install and configure to provide secure Wi-Fi connectivity.  Load Balancers: Deploy and manage load balancing solutions for optimal traffic distribution. Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of network setups to confirm functionality, performance, and alignment with client requirements. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues encountered during and after implementation. Provide ongoing support to maintain system stability and client satisfaction. Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, installation processes, and client-specific instructions. Ensure all changes and updates are accurately recorded. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all network implementations adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of network solutions, within budget, and according to project specifications. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is required; additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are preferred.  Minimum of 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focusing on network implementation and client-facing roles.  Extensive experience in configuring and managing various network components and technologies.  Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and security practices.  Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools.  Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.  Proven ability to manage projects, adhere to deadlines, and work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders. Long-term benefit savings plan with employer matching contributions Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization Requirements • Conduct project kick off, design sessions for converting the High-Level Design (HLD) to a Low Level Design (LLD) matching customer technical and business requirements in the areas of Virtualization and Hyper-converged • Incentive structure will be discussed during the course of evaluation Infrastructure (HCI) • Successfully implement the agreed LLD in the stipulated timeframe • Create and submit documentation to secure sign off from the customer on the implemented project • Acquire additional skills and certifications in similar or other technologies that are aligned to the vision of Power Bridge • Design, setup and maintain the Customer Centre of Excellence (CoE) • Assist Pre-Sales team (if Required) on vetting the solution to ensure all the solution components are proposed or covered to deliver the project as per the requirement of the customer • Suggest Pre-Sales team in regards to designing solutions that are optimized technically and commercially • Upskilling the teammates in your area of expertise to build the team • Meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, information technology or engineering.
