We are looking for a pragmatic and results-driven Director - Delivery Standards & Enablement to enhance execution discipline, establish delivery governance, and uplift the maturity of delivery practices across teams. This role suits a seasoned delivery professional with a passion for operational excellence and strong interpersonal skills.

This role is hands-on and practical, focused on standardization, enablement, tool adoption, and stakeholder collaboration. It does not demand coaching or high-end consulting but instead drives simple, clear, and consistent delivery practices that improve efficiency and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Standards & Governance

  • Define, implement, and institutionalize core delivery frameworks.
  • Promote consistent use of artifacts: project plans, RAID logs, retrospectives, and status reports.
  • Establish and reinforce governance routines including checkpoints, stakeholder reviews, and dashboards.

Maturity Assessment & Execution Uplift

  • Perform structured and informal assessments to benchmark delivery maturity.
  • Identify gaps in planning, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Define and implement maturity uplift roadmaps with realistic, trackable outcomes.

Enablement & Evangelization

  • Enable teams to adopt delivery frameworks, templates, and processes through onboarding and communication.
  • Evangelize delivery discipline, hygiene, and effectiveness through visible leadership and examples.

Tools & Asset Management

  • Promote adoption of tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.
  • Build and maintain a library of reusable templates, SOPs, checklists, and dashboards.
  • Recommend light automation and effective tool usage for governance and reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with delivery teams, project managers, and customer stakeholders to drive standardization.
  • Integrate real-world feedback to refine tools, templates, and delivery rhythms.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 12+ years in IT delivery, delivery governance, or PMO roles.
  • Hands-on experience in multi-project or multi-client environments.
  • Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
  • PMP, ITIL, SAFe (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong familiarity with delivery tools: JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Practical mindset with a bias for structure and clarity.
