This role combines manual testing, API validation, and basic automation using Python to ensure seamless conversational experiences for end users. If you have a keen eye for detail, curiosity about how AI assistants behave, and a strong foundation in QA processes, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Perform deep manual testing of conversational AI assistants — review call recordings, chat transcripts, and verify assistant responses. Validate call flow quality and identify speech recognition errors, interruptions, and prompt misbehaviors. Test new product features, enhancements, and bug fixes across multiple AI assistant products. Create and execute detailed, scenario-based test cases for both voice and text interactions. Conduct API testing (manual or via tools like Postman, Insomnia) and validate integrations between backend services. Execute basic Python scripts for repetitive or functional API test automation. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to ensure high-quality releases. Participate in prompt testing, counter-prompt validation, and benchmark testing against competitor AI systems. Support release validation and regression testing for client-specific AI assistant deployments. Required Qualifications & Skills 3–5 years of QA experience in a product-based or SaaS environment. Strong expertise in manual testing — particularly for user experience, call/voice flows, and AI-driven interactions. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar. Basic proficiency in Python scripting — able to read, execute, or slightly modify automation scripts. Solid understanding of QA methodologies: test planning, case design, regression, and defect tracking. Excellent analytical and communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Curiosity to understand AI conversational behavior and identify edge cases or response inconsistencies. Good to Have Exposure to AI/ML testing environments, speech recognition, or NLP-based products.
