Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive - Hospitality (HORECA) at Krishi Cress located in New Delhi. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive with a hospitality background (Chef, Hotel Management, or similar) and strong experience in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in the food service and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HORECA sector (hotels, restaurants, catering services, cafes, and QSRs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, F&B managers, procurement heads, and decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products/services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiations and deal closures.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to order fulfillment and follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and demonstrations for potential clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field.
- 3-4 years of sales or business development experience in the HORECA industry.
- Strong network and connections within hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and travel as required.
