We are looking for a new colleague to join us as

Pune Plant HR Leader

for our Pune Plant. In this role, the incumbent is responsible for all HR strategies and processes for our Pune manufacturing facility. The incumbent will partner with cross-functional teams & leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management & development, internal communication, budgeting, performance management & Compliance management for Pune plant (ISC) on and off roll organization (~485 HC).

A few of your main responsibilities will include:

• Align critical human resources principles with business objectives. Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with client groups.• Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent.• Prepare and drive STRAP/ AOP and other forecast exercises.• Actively drive the Staffing and selection process to build competitive workforce including driving university relations for plant.• Workforce Strategy: Ensure efficient & compliant organization design for different categories of employees in the plant.• Drive Succession Planning for Plant team ensuring development and availability of talent pipeline for leadership and key operational positions.• Develop and drive plant level learning and talent development initiatives.• Drive org initiatives with Plant leadership team to strengthen employee engagement.• Developing and driving HR initiatives – process and employment practice improvement, training, metrics/trends and analysis.• Actively drive the performance management & compensation planning process for all plant in a timely manner. For Pune shop floor associates, lead the annual performance management process along with annual compensation bench marking & planning exercise.• Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Ensure their availability to all employees.• Assure organisation of events for employees as per specific requests of plant LT Drive continuous improvement and lead change. • Implement Garrett communication initiatives in the plant, together with the communications team. Issue and/ or validate internal communication documents ensuring respect of Garrett global standards on communication.• Participate and actively drive completion of actions coming out of all meetings (tier 3 or 4), other meetings. Garrett Internal• Proactively engage with Shop floor associates, vendor partners & other stakeholders to ensure smooth Labour Employee Relations on site (covering on and off roll employees).• Ensure 100% Labour Compliance Management for Pune Plant covering Garrett On and off role organisation.

YOU MUST HAVE:• A master’s degree in human resources management & Labour Relations.• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in HR related areas. Experience in manufacturing environment for minimum 3+ years.• Good knowledge of Labour laws and ability to apply them to practical day to day plant situations. • Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds; global mindset and ability to operate in a multicultural environment; Advanced level of English both in written and verbal communication. Ability to understand and speak in Marathi.• Ability to work in a strong matrix environment; Ability to influence at varying levels across the organisation.

Other important information:• This role is based in our Pune Plant in Hinjewadi, Phase III.• We are open to relocating candidates from other cities in India to Pune
