Job Summary: seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Sr. Manager in Finance & Accounts with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, Cost accounting, Management Reporting and should possess strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in the Skill Development industry and possess the expertise to lead a team effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, payable, and cash flow for the company's iron & steel business.
  • Prepare financial reports using Tally software to track income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act (CA) and Income Tax Laws (IT).
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, assign and review staffs work.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedure

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years of experience in accountancy or related field from a Skill Development industry background.
  • Postgraduate degree in Commerce (M.Com) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP9 software; knowledge of other accounting packages like SAP/ERP systems a plus.
