Key Responsibilities
- Lead Angular Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain Angular applications, ensuring high-quality, performant, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-impact features and user-centric web applications.
- Architect Scalable Frontend Solutions : Contribute to the design and architecture of complex, scalable Angular applications using best practices and modern design patterns (e.g., Component-based architecture, Redux, NGRX).
- Code Optimization and Performance Tuning : Focus on improving the performance, responsiveness, and usability of the application by optimizing loading times, managing resources, and handling complex UI interactions.
- Testing and Quality Assurance : Write unit tests, and integration tests, and perform end-to-end testing to ensure robust, bug-free applications. Use tools like Jasmine , Karma , and Protractor for testing.
- Code Reviews and Mentorship : Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, and mentor junior developers, guiding them in best practices and providing technical support.
- Agile Methodology : Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends : Continuously evaluate and apply emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve the development process and the applications we build.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues : Debug issues, troubleshoot bugs, and provide technical solutions to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Maintain Documentation : Document technical solutions, component designs, and coding standards to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability of the codebase.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Angular (2+).
- Expert knowledge of Angular : Strong understanding of Angular features, including modules , components , services , directives , pipes , routing , and dependency injection .
- Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript : In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/ES7) and TypeScript, and how to work effectively in both.
- Frontend Technologies : Strong proficiency in HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive web design principles (including Flexbox, and CSS Grid).
- State Management : Experience with NGRX or other state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Akita).
- RESTful APIs & Integration : Experience integrating with RESTful services and handling asynchronous communication (e.g., using RxJS , Observables , Axios , or Fetch API ).
- Unit Testing : Hands-on experience with Jasmine , Karma , or other testing frameworks for writing and running unit tests.
- Version Control : Proficient in Git , with experience in managing branches, pull requests, and code versioning workflows.
- Performance Optimization : Experience optimizing Angular applications for performance and scaling, including lazy loading, change detection strategies, and AOT (Ahead-of-Time) compilation.
- CI/CD : Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins , GitLab CI , or CircleCI .
- Cross-browser Compatibility : Experience ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for web applications.
- Agile/Scrum : Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA , Trello , Azure DevOps ).
- Responsive Design : Expertise in creating mobile-first and responsive UIs using frameworks such as Bootstrap or Angular Material .
Preferred Skills
- GraphQL : Experience integrating with GraphQL APIs for more efficient data querying and management.
- Webpack : Knowledge of build tools like Webpack , Angular CLI , and their configurations.
- UI/UX Design : Strong understanding of modern UI/UX design principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
- Progressive Web Apps (PWA) : Experience with building Progressive Web Apps and using service workers.
- Node.js : Familiarity with Node.js and building or managing backend APIs.
- Cloud Integration : Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , Google Cloud ) and deploying Angular applications to cloud services.
- Containerization : Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments for development and deployment.
- Server-side rendering (SSR) : Experience with Angular Universal for SSR.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
