Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development and be proficient in building scalable and efficient applications using modern Java technologies. As a Java Developer, you will work on building innovative and high-performance systems with a strong emphasis on Java 8 or higher, Spring, microservices, and enterprise messaging systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Work extensively with Core Java and modern features (Java 8 and higher) to develop software solutions.
- Implement web applications using Servlets and JSP (Java Server Pages).
- Develop microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework (version 6).
- Work with Hibernate and Spring JPA (Java Persistence API) for ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
- Implement Spring Security and OAuth 2.0 for secure application development.
- Collaborate with messaging systems such as Solace to integrate messaging capabilities within Java applications.
- Build and consume REST APIs for various system integrations.
- Utilize relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
- Develop and debug code within Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA IDEs.
- Follow best practices in Agile development using JIRA for project management and Git/ Bitbucket for version control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Core Java, including Java 8 features and higher versions (up to Java 17).
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Version 6) and Spring Boot.
- Expertise in Hibernate and Spring JPA for database integration.
- Strong understanding of Spring Security and experience implementing OAuth 2.0.
- Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems like Solace, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
- Extensive experience with building and consuming REST APIs.
- Solid experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Experience using JIRA, Agile methodology, Git, and Bitbucket for version control and project management.
