We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of internal organizational initiatives and client-focused IT projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to coordinate across departments, manage resources effectively, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will be a key driver in aligning project outcomes with business goals while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities Internal Projects Management:

1. Strategic Initiative Oversight:

- Manage internal projects spanning various departments, such as IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and Marketing.- Develop project charters, objectives, and execution plans to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.

1. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

- Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders and resolve cross-functional dependencies.

1. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

- Define success metrics for internal projects and track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).- Provide detailed project status reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation plans.

Client IT Project Management:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of client IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.- Develop project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.- Manage client expectations, providing timely updates and resolving issues proactively.

1. Budget and Resource Management:

- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.- Coordinate with resource managers to allocate personnel, tools, and technologies required for project success.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

1. Risk Mitigation:

- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

1. Quality Assurance:

- Establish quality benchmarks and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.- Implement feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

Team Leadership:

1. Mentoring and Coaching:

- Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.- Mentor junior project managers and team members to build organizational project management capabilities.

1. Conflict Resolution:

- Address team or stakeholder conflicts effectively, ensuring project timelines and objectives remain on track.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, with 5+ years in a senior project management role.- Proven track record of delivering both internal and client-facing IT projects.

Certifications (Preferred):

- PMP (Project Management Professional)- PRINCE2 Practitioner- Agile certifications such as Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello.- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT project lifecycles.- Experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure, application development, or digital transformation projects.

Core Competencies:

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.- Adept at stakeholder management and building strong client relationships.- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
