Your Role


This is a leadership role in Taxation, where you will lead the Tax Strategy, Litigation of Direct and Indirect Taxation including Cross border Taxation and M&A.

Key Job Responsibilities –

  • Tax Strategy Development- Develop and implement Tax strategy that align with Company Business Objectives.
  • Direct and Indirect Tax management- Oversee all aspects of Direct and Indirect Tax including Corporate Tax, Litigation, M&A and other aspects of Taxation.
  • Compliance and Reporting –Ensuring timely and accurate compliance of all legal entities of the group.
  • GAAP tax closure – Quarterly / Annual – coordination with Stat Auditors and Finance team.
  • Tax Advisory- Provide expert advice on tax implication for business decision, M&A other strategic initiatives
  • Tax Risk Management- Identify and mitigate the risks by developing robust tax policies and procedures.
  • Stakeholder engagement-Laise with external tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Business, legal, tech and product and operation teams.
  • Team Leadership- Lead and develop a high performing tax team, fostering a culture of continuous Improvement and professional growth.


What We’re Looking For

  • In depth knowledge of India Tax regulations
  • Prior work experience of handing Large corp tax matters, search, investigation and ED matters
  • Proficient in working with external tax consultants including Big4s.
  • Well versed in stakeholder management.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in managing the large corporation/Big 4 clients.
