Job Title: Head of Learning & Development

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Reports to:

Chief Human Resource Officer

JOB OVERVIEW

The Head of Learning & Development will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the learning strategy for a premium sanitaryware and lighting brand. You will lead a team of learning professionals and collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, design effective programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.- Regularly assess training programs to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness modules of learning programs.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of learning initiatives with overall organizational strategies.

Training Needs Analysis:

- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments.- Work closely with department heads and HR to design targeted learning interventions based on identified needs.- Assess departmental qualitative parameters to identify and plan training requirements.

Program Design and Development:

- Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning programs, incorporating various modalities such as instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job learning.- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training content.

Learning Technology and Tools:

- Evaluate, select, and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other technological tools to enhance the delivery and tracking of learning programs.

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of programs.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

Educational Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field. A Masters in business administration is preferred- Minimum 12-14 Years of experience in Sales or Training

Skills & Competencies:

- Experience in Designing, developing, and implementing tailored training programs – technical and behavioural- Proficiency in creating instructional materials and conducting needs assessments.- Experience in setting LMS platforms- Strong presentation skills.- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.- Adaptability, problem-solving, and change management skills.- Excellent leadership and people management skills.- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills- Project management and organizational skills- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.- High ethical standards and professionalism.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
