Job Title : MS Dynamics Developer

Location : Bengaluru

Experience : 7-10 Years in IT, with 4+ Years of Hands-on Experience in MS Power Platform Development

Role Purpose :

The MS Dynamics Developer is responsible for leading the software application development and maintenance strategy for Microsoft Dynamics solutions. This includes defining the implementation roadmap and managing the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The individual will guide the team through application design, development, and deployment, leveraging the latest tools and technologies to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Development Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of MS Dynamics-based solutions, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide technical guidance to resolve complex challenges.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) :

- Ensure the development team maintains a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), improving the overall development process and ensuring high-quality releases.

Stakeholder Management :

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, aligning their expectations with the development process.

- Provide regular updates and transparency regarding the progress of development projects.

Software Development Process Support :

- Support the software development process by ensuring the application of best practices, encouraging junior team members to follow CI/CD principles, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Application Design and Customization :

- Lead the design and configuration of MS Dynamics applications, including customization, integrations, and deploying solutions that meet the client's business requirements.

Integration and API Development :

- Develop and manage integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and external systems using REST APIs and other integration methods.

- Ensure seamless functionality across the systems.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Ensure that unit testing, code migration, and other quality assurance practices are effectively followed during the development cycle.

Agile Methodology :

- Work with an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage project workflows and timelines.

- Adapt to changes in technology and project requirements as needed.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications :

Educational Background :

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience :

- 7 - 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), MS Dynamics 365, and Azure development.

- Proven experience in managing software development teams and ensuring high-quality application deployment.

Technical Skills :

- Power Platform Development : Expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 online.

- Azure Technologies : Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Webjobs, and Azure DevOps (including Azure Git, Jira, etc.).

- Software Development : Strong knowledge of the .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, FormScript/Actions, and client-side scripting.

- Configuration Management & Deployment : Experience with code migration, unit testing, and application deployment.

- Agile/Scrum : Solid experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Ability to manage tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility to switch between technologies as required.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions efficiently.

- Willingness to learn new technologies and mentor junior developers.

Additional Skills (Preferred) :

- Familiarity with configuration management tools and version control systems.

- Experience with customization and configuration in MS Dynamics, including entity design, workflow configuration, and report development.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
