Role Description:
Assistant Manager – Projects is responsible to oversee all the aspects of a project - design, planning, coordination, staffing, and executing. He / She is also responsible to meet the project's goals on time and within budget. Ensure effective use of labour, equipment, materials, tools, subcontracted services, and other company resources to perform and complete the scope of work.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Handling multiple projects execution and operations and get necessary approvals from Client / PMC.
- Track and manage project milestones for timely completion of project as per the project schedule.
- Updating Manager – Projects on the progress of the assigned project(s).
- Manage the resources and team members required to achieve project goals.
- Assist Manager – Projects in tracking actual project cost v/s the budgeted project cost.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and track the same.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, mandatory project documents, proposals for reference and approval.
- Attend and participate in project related meetings with client and team members.
- Carry out project inspection activities to find out loop holes and rectify the same at early stage.
- Ensure proper and timely handover of project.
- Ensure timely billing (one bill per month) to maintain project cash flow and follow-up for payment.
- Co-ordination with OEM / Vendor to get the material on time.
- Conducting review meeting with the team members allocated for the project and office team (Procurement, Planning and billing)
Must Have Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Excellent organizing skills
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- Team player
- Demonstrate his ability to effectively utilize resources and material allocated for each project.
- Show computer proficiency in relations to MS Office, Autocad and other technical & software programs as required to accomplish his responsibilities.
