Our company is growing rapidly and is looking for a trade product manager. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.


Job Responsibility

  • Handling all trade products
  • Identify opportunities (including new product development), anticipate threats.
  • Develop Product Strategy (including Market and Competitor Analysis)
  • Conduct new product development including implementing product extensions for current product offerings considering evolving market trends, client requirements, geographic expansion, and regulatory changes, for primarily the FI segment.
  • Preparing product development updates for internal/external client consumption
  • Analyze market segmentation for sales process and client coverage.
  • Interface with Sales to provide technical product sales support of the Trade Sales Professionals and other related sales functions.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, sales presentations, and product slip sheets.
  • Requirements definition and specifications including conceptual and detail design in partnership with IT and Operations
  • Conduct routine evaluations of alternative service providers.
  • Provide internal and external product advocacy through active participation at industry forums, conferences, working groups and media communications.
  • Conduct internal training sessions for multiple disciplines.
  • Be responsible for product pricing strategies.
  • Lead and support RFP and RFI proposals.
  • Solid understanding of Global Transaction Banking’s objectives, strategies, and structure


Qualification required -

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study


Experience: A minimum of ten years' experience in Trade Finance products such as LC, BG, SBLC, Collections, Remittance, Islamic, etc/Operations/Project environment, with a preference for those who have exposure to business project delivery roles.


Skills and Competencies:


Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Trade finance products, including pricing drivers, and good knowledge of Trade Management systems and standard processes.

  • Project Management: Strong ability to apply project management best practices, take ownership of tasks, and drive solutions to completion within strict timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in senior stakeholder engagement and management, with the ability to create effective work relationships across business units and borders.
  • Communication: Fluent in English & Hindi with high-level oral and written communication skills; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as in teams, with a service-driven approach and strong interpersonal skills
