General Manager - Operations (Seating System)- Indore

Role-

As the Operations Head this position will play a pivotal role in overseeing and

managing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. It will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, implementing production schedules, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for all plants based near Indore. It will be essential in achieving operational excellence and meeting production targets while maintaining the highest standards of Quality and Safety.

Key Responsibilities: -

 Lead and manage the manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, quality

standards, and cost objectives.

 Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve

efficiency, and reduce waste.

 Establish and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply

chain, to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.

 Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to

meet targets.

 Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, providing guidance & Training.

 Continuous improvement and innovation to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

 Manage Mfg budgets, expenses & resource allocation to optimize cost- effectiveness.

 Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, and employee engagement.

Key Goals:

 Achieve Zero Accident and Maintain Safe workplace by safety improvements & and

complying all legal compliances

 Achieve Plant Quality Performance metrics as per the set goals.

 Achieve Operational Excellence through Resource optimization.

Candidate-

 BE in Engg, manufacturing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

 Proven experience in Mfg Industries, preferably in the # automotive #seating

industry.

 Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.

 Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

 In-depth knowledge of mfg processes, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles.

 Proficiency in implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.

 Excellent comm skills & the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

 Prior experience with budget management and cost control.

 Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
