Your role
The Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform team is looking for a new team member to join our global team.
We're looking for a platform engineer to:
• engineer new features for the container platform on premise today and in the public cloud in the future.
• contribute to designing and operating automation software to provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal a large global fleet of Kubernetes clusters.
• participate in release cycles of our offerings by deploying code, integrating with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools, and change management
• perform software updates, peer code reviews, testing, andmon Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) analysis; respond to security threats
• help in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities, leading engineering efforts against a service-level agreement (SLA) and error budget
• serve as a goodwill ambassador to developer, operations, and partnermunities
Your team
You'll be working in the container transformation engineering team in Pune focusing on providing management container-as-a-service platforms. We provide a dynamic, international environment with exposure to large scale modern platforms used daily by a large developer and applicationmunity. As a platform engineer, you'll play an important role in delivering enterprise solutions for container hosting solution based on Kubernetes.
Your expertise
• development experience in Java, Python and/or Go (and open to learn any of those) and building containerized micro-services running on Kubernetes
• a degree inputer Science or equivalent experience as an application developer or system engineer
• willingness to learn
• fluency in English
