Job Description

As the HR Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of HR services. You will lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team meets its objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to streamline processes, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in HR operations.

Effective stakeholder management is critical for the HR Operations Team Lead to ensure that HR operations are aligned with organizational goals, compliant with legal requirements, and responsive to the needs of employees and other stakeholders. By fostering positive relationships, facilitating open communication, and proactively addressing concerns, the HR Operations Team Lead can contribute to the overall success and effectiveness of the HR function.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills to fulfill their roles effectively.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for development and growth within the team.
  • HR Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to background verification, employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
    • Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in HR operations.
    • Monitor key metrics and KPIs to assess the performance of HR operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence:
    • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices and policies remain compliant.
    • Work closely with the legal department to develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Partner with Compliance vendor and Internal compliance team to conduct regular establishment and vendor audits and reviews to ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements and Labour laws.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
    • Lead initiatives to implement new HR technologies or systems to optimize HR operations.
    • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in HR operations or related roles, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR technology solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
