Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract and hire qualified employees who match our company culture and values.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the hiring needs of the company.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interviewing process.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Stay updated on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events to build a strong employer brand.
  • Manage the recruitment pipeline and maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented reports to the rest of the team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and employment equity regulations.
  • Experience with social media and professional networks for recruiting.
  • A team player with a high level of dedication.
