Job Description:


As a Presales Managed Services Solution Architect, specializing in Telecommunications, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and innovative solutions to prospective clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the presales process by understanding customer requirements, defining service offerings, and crafting tailored managed services proposals that address specific needs within the telecommunications sector. Working closely with the sales, delivery, account managers, delivery, procurement, and customer teams, you will develop compelling value propositions, create detailed MS offer solution, and deliver persuasive presentations to demonstrate the benefits of our managed services offerings to potential customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with prospective clients, understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements related to managed services in the telecommunications industry.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with Engagement Managers, Account Managers, and delivery team to design comprehensive managed services solutions that meet customer needs and align with our capabilities and service portfolio.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality managed services proposals, including solution overviews, service descriptions, Statement of compliances, pricing models, SLAs, and implementation plans, tailored to each customer's unique requirements.
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition, features, and benefits of our managed services offerings, and addressing customer questions and concerns.
  • Solution Differentiation: Analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in our managed services portfolio and incorporate these insights into proposals and presentations.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the technical, operational, and financial viability of proposed managed services solutions, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and optimization.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to foster collaboration, trust, and transparency throughout the presales process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry best practices, and evolving customer needs in the telecommunications sector, and contribute insights and recommendations for enhancing our managed services offerings and sales processes.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field with 12 to 15 years of work experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Cloud Architect certification like Azure, GCP, AWS etc) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, networks, and systems, including but not limited to voice, data, video, wireless, and cloud-based services. Familiarity with managed services concepts, ITIL framework, and service delivery models.
  • Presales Experience: Proven track record in a presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role, with experience in crafting and presenting managed services proposals to enterprise customers in the telecommunications industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and business value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solution Architecture: Experience in designing end-to-end solutions, defining service architectures, and creating detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and workflows to support managed services proposals and implementations.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, solution architecture, operations, and product management, to ensure successful customer engagements.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding customer needs, solving their problems, and delivering value-added solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex business and technical requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and make data-driven decisions to optimize solution design and proposal development.
