Key Requirements and Responsibilities of a Presales Solutions Architect:


  • We are looking for a Presales Solution Architect/Enterprise Architect who has a proven track record of working closely with sales and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing solutions across various database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and Sybase, coupled with hands-on experience in architecting AWS/Azure/GCP cloud solutions. An AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect certification is a mandatory requirement.


  • The role involves working closely with customers to understand their current technical ecosystem, business drivers, goals, and future state architecture. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical support services to the sales team, starting from lead qualification and deeper discovery, through to hand-off to the delivery team.


  • Collaboration with the sales and delivery teams on RFI/RFP responses is essential, including developing and writing the technical scope and requirements for Statements of Work (SOWs). Strong interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communication skills are paramount, along with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.


  • The candidate should possess strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, as well as the flexibility to travel to customer locations for meetings (up to 75% travel required). A working knowledge of at least one flavor of SQL and experience with database migration are also required.
