Senior Designer: UI/UX Karat Capital Advisors is a SEBI Registered Investment Advisory firm having registration number INA time.Money is a wealth tech platform under Karat Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd focused on simplifying investment approaches through asset allocation and investor behaviour. Please note that this is a full time on-site role in Bangalore, and remote work is not an option. About the Role We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with 3-5 years of experience in Fintech/Wealth-tech domains to join our wealth tech platform, time.Money. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding human psychology, challenging conventional thinking and applying out of the box ideas to design. This role will involve collaborating with business, product and technology teams to build intuitive designs leading to reduced cognitive load for our users. Beyond UI/UX design, this position offers exposure to cutting-edge investment technology, product innovation, and data-driven decision-making to improve user experience. Responsibilities Design brainstorming with the product team to understand user needs, product requirements and current financial trends. Drive digital design experiences – including our websites, digital campaigns, blogs and interactive experiences Experiment with design approaches for new and differentiating experiences on web, mobile platforms Creating original design, typography, iconography, and art for digital screens centered around simple, modern & industry-trending designs Exhibit expertise in designing interfaces for sensitive data such as financial information, PII by applying data masking etc where necessary Must distil simplicity from complex user requirements and focus on elegant, simple intuitive designs Build minimalistic dashboards for key investment data that focuses on key takeaways from important insights Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and paper prototypes to communicate your design to the rest of the team Leverage AI to improve productivity, design consistency while the creativity is solely yours. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in all user-centred design processes, mockups, adhering to design principles, human behaviour and psychology. Prior exposure to Finance/Fintech/Wealthtech domains with a brief understanding of financial investments, mutual funds etc Expert knowledge of Figma, Storybook and any other design tools Extensive experience with meaningful and in depth user research and translating insights from research to your designs. Be flexible, decisive and know how to put ego and biases aside and focus on the needs of the customer. Must have written good detailed documentation covering design architecture, data flow diagrams, user journeys, data mapping etc
