Job Role :

  • Will have direct reports of Leads related to following verticals 1) Upstream , 2) Downstream 3) Virology 4) Immunology 5) mRNA Lead 6) cGMP Lead
  • Should have experience in leading multiple Vaccine R&D projects and successfully contributed to minimum 3-5 commercial vaccine products & has lead above teams in his current or past roles.
  • This position is next to existing R&D India Head & based on competency fitment , can be considered as rightful successor to existing Vaccine R&D – India Head
  • CTC : Best in the Industry

Qualifications:

PhD in Lifesciences or Biology (Biochemistry, Microbiology or Immunology or other Cell or Molecular Biology) with at least 15 years’ experience in a biotechnology or pharma industry in R&D product development

About 10 years R&D experience in vaccines, infectious disease, or gene therapy using technologies such as traditional molecular biology, mRNA virus vector or nucleic acids. Of that at least 5 years would be leading a small R&D team of PhD and MS level scientists. Should have good communications skills, and be able to interact with people at all levels. Have respect and be sensitive to the cultural differences affecting the working styles while appreciating that scientific thought and investigative and inquisitive minds are universal.
