You’ll be our: Interaction designer

You’ll be based at : Corporate office, Bangalore (IBC Knowledge Park)

What you’ll do at Ather

  • You will be designing the various interactions for our customer-facing and internal interfaces of the business team, like theWebsite, Experience Center tools, Business Tools, Charging Infrastructure, Service Apps, and the like.

  • We are reinventing the automobile space which means you will be required to ideate, innovate, and design solutions to problems that haven’t been encountered till now and then create delightful experiences out of it.

  • Implementing and sculpting a uniform design language across designs.

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, sitemaps etc. to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

  • Conduct and evaluate user/behavioral research so that we as a team can design for the user. 

  • Drive adoption of trends in user experience and use of technology/tools.

Here’s what we’re looking for

  • Proven UX/UI design experience.

  • Fundamental understanding of experience and interaction design.

  • Strong portfolio of customer-facing projects (preferably for technology-driven companies).

  • Solid experience in creating high fidelity assets, storyboards, and site maps.

  • Proficiency in design and wireframing tools - Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, etc.

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

  • Knowledge  of the latest UI trends, techniques, tools, and technologies.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping will be a bonus.


What you bring to Ather

  • Degree in design from Tier 1 design schools would be preferred but is not a mandate.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
