About Us
The ffreedom app is India's premier livelihood platform, designed to empower individuals across various sectors by providing practical video-based learning. With a library of over 500+ courses, the app covers a wide range of topics, including personal finance, agriculture, animal husbandry, and numerous business sectors such as handicrafts, retail, service industries, and home-based ventures.
We also offer a mentor-connect service via which individuals can seek guidance from a mentor. The platform also offers a marketplace enabling our customers to buy or sell their products. Recently we have launched an AI Powered bot (SRI Chatbot) which can help customers to seek knowledge on any of the topics related to the categories we offer in the platform.
Our mobile app serves over 1.3 crore users and offers courses in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. We are looking for a talented Product Designer to help shape the future of our platform by delivering intuitive, user-friendly experiences across mobile, web, and desktop applications.
Role Overview As a Product Designer , you will be responsible for designing seamless user experiences for our app, website, and desktop platform. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life through thoughtful design and a deep understanding of user needs. If you are passionate about design, have experience working on B2C apps, and enjoy working with a collaborative team, this role is for you
Key Responsibilities 1.      UI/UX Design : Create wireframes, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity designs for our mobile app, website, and desktop app, ensuring consistency and usability across platforms.
2.      Collaborate with Engineers : Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are effectively translated into production (Experience in Flutter-based applications will be a big plus).
3.      User-Centric Design : Conduct user research and testing to iterate on design solutions based on feedback and data insights.
4.      Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions that align with business objectives.
5.      Design Systems : Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure scalable and consistent design patterns across all platforms. (Experience in creating a design system on flutter will be a big plus)
6.      Prototyping : Develop interactive prototypes to visualize the design flow and functionality.
7.      Multi-language Design : Ensure designs are optimized for six languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu), improving accessibility for diverse user groups.
8.      Reporting and Team : You will be joining 2 UI Designers working in our team and will be reporting to the Head of Product
Qualifications 1.      Experience : 2-3 years of experience in product design, preferably for B2C applications.
2.      Design Expertise : Proficient in the Figma with hands-on experience creating wireframes, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity designs, as well as prototypes. (Understanding of Auto layout and frames is a must)
3.      Collaboration : Experience working closely with engineers
4.      Design Process : Strong skills in user research, white-boarding, wireframing, prototyping, and design testing.
5.      Platform Experience : Previous experience designing for mobile apps, web apps, and desktop platforms. (Particularly worked on a B2C app or product based company)
6.      Languages : Familiarity with designing for multilingual platforms is a plus.
