Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre is a 360-bed, multi-Specialty tertiary care hospital with following thrust areas: Cardiac Sciences, Gastroenterology & Hepatobiliary Sciences, Liver Transplant, Nephro-Urology, Neuro Sciences, Oncology, Orthopedics & Spine, and Woman & Child Health. The Hospital has a Medical Mall with progressive diagnostic services, including Laboratories, Radiology & Imaging, and Nuclear Medicine. Role: IT Application Head Department : Information Technology Experience Required: 12+ years in IT application management; healthcare experience preferred Qualifications & Experience : Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline / Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, etc.) or ITIL is desirable. Key Responsibilities 1. Application Implementation & Support Manage implementation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of enterprise software applications including HIS, EMR, ERP, PACS, LIS, RIS, pharmacy and lab systems. Coordinate with internal teams and software vendors to ensure smooth operations and support for all business-critical applications. Track application performance, resolve issues proactively, and ensure business continuity. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with various departments such as operations, finance, nursing, diagnostics, and administration to understand user needs and ensure applications meet business requirements. Facilitate training sessions, user support, and awareness to drive adoption and effective use of applications. Create user manuals, SOPs, and documentation for internal reference and compliance. 3. Project & Vendor Management Plan and manage IT application projects including new deployments, system enhancements, and integrations. Manage relationships with software vendors for SLAs, issue resolution, upgrades, licensing, and support. Track project deliverables, timelines, risks, and budgets in coordination with internal stakeholders. 4. Compliance, Data Integrity & Security Ensure system compliance with data protection regulations, audit requirements, and internal IT policies. Work with the data and analytics team to ensure application data is structured, reliable, and accessible for reporting and analysis. Maintain appropriate access control, backups, and system audit trails. 5. Process Improvement & Innovation Identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation across departments using application features or new tools. Evaluate new technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, patient services, and stakeholder engagement. Lead application optimization initiatives to streamline workflows and improve user experience. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
