Qualifications/Skillset Requirements

4 to 6 yrs relevant work experience in SDET role Strong work experience testing Web, Desktop, and API based applications Ability to design test strategy, test plan and has strong functional testing experience with STLC Well versed with Unix, Mainframes along with experience migrating to modern SaaS applications Strong hands-on experience with Desktop-based Automation using tools like WinAppDriver, Winium, UFT, Tosca or similar Proficient in Java, TestNG, Selenium, and related tech stack for UI/API Test Automation Domain SME with Pharmacy and healthcare Good to have knowledge of web services standards, API Testing, and related technologies (REST, SOAP, XML) using Postman or similar tools Experience in developing automation scripts using various framework approaches like Modular, Keyword-driven, and Data-driven Analyzing functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for test cases and test scripts Experience with tools like JIRA, Sharepoint, Rally, wiki, etc Should have worked on source code management tools like GIT/SVN Experience integrating the test framework with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium Grid) in cloud and data-center based infrastructure Experience working in Agile development methodology and fast-paced delivery model Propensity to probe and find defects Inquisitive, methodical, and analytical in testing applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thrive in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment Experience in a global matrix organization Ability to quickly understand code and specifications Aligning with Altimetrik's core values and priorities

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently be able to work and deliver Quality working closely within scrum teams Breakdown complex tasks into smaller chunks of work and clear understanding of defined tasks Build utilities/automation for Desktop and Web-based applications using appropriate tools Ability to quickly understand complex functionalities and build automation assets with reusability, stability, and high quality Root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion Ability to collaborate with test engineers, SDETs, developers, and other stakeholders Passionate to innovate & implement ideas to address efficiency, best practices, improved processes, and custom solutions Communicate daily status reports in Scrum and participate in agile ceremonies Document process, designs, test results, and analysis reports
