•2 to 4 years relevant work experience in SDET role•Proficient in Javascript/Typescript based UI Test Automation tools•Experience automating Angular based applications using WebdriverIO (v6 or higher) or any similar Javascript-based tools like Cypress•Understanding of Testing frameworks and assertion libraries like Mocha, Jasmine•Good hands-on experience with locator strategies and handling wait conditions•Good knowledge of web services standards and related technologies (REST, SOAP, XML)•Hands-on using testing API using tools like Postman•Basic knowledge with RestAssured•Experience in developing automation scripts with various framework approaches as Modular, Keyword driven and Data-driven•Experience testing in cross-browser•Experience with tools like JIRA, Sharepoint, Rally, wiki, etc•Should have worked on source code management tools like GIT/SVN•Experience integrating the test framework with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium Grid) in the cloud and data-center based infrastructure•Experience working in Agile development methodology and fast-paced delivery model•Propensity to probe and find defects•Inquisitive, methodical, and analytical in testing applications•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Thrive in a self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment•Experience in a global matrix organization•Ability to quickly understand code and specifications•Aligning with Altimetrik's core values and priorities
Roles & Responsibilities•Ability to quickly understand complex functionalities and build automation assets with reusability, stability, and high quality•Write utilities/automation tools using Javascript/Typescript, WebdriverIO, RestAssured, and more•Root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion•Ability to collaborate with test engineers, SDETs, developers, and other stakeholders•Communicate daily status reports in Scrum and participate in agile ceremonies•Document process, designs, test results, and analysis reportsOther Details
