Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Professional with strong expertise in handling NVOCC accounts. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Job Title: Accounts Position – NVOCC
Location: Chennai
Industry: NVOCC/Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations for NVOCC business.
  • Handle receivables, payables, reconciliation, and credit control.
  • Ensure accurate recording of freight revenues, slot chartering, and cost allocations.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents, vendors, and internal teams for settlement of accounts.
  • Prepare MIS reports, P&L, and assist in budgeting/forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when required.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Accounts within NVOCC industry .
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, freight accounting, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17, ₹25,000.00 per month
