We at Ads Product are all about making Ads more meaningful & relevant to our users and help drive marketing objectives for our partners / advertisers. Ads is one of the ways Truecaller monetizes the APP, and thus holds a critical role in driving Truecaller revenues. Our scale boasts about: ~4BN Acs Req per day, ~2 BN impressions (globally) per day, thus making Truecaller one of the largest standalone publishers in India and emerging markets like Egypt, North Africa etc.
Mission - The Ads team is responsible for monetizing Truecaller inventory through ads by offering targeted advertising solutions to our demand partners.
Product Features - Display/Video Ads, Audience/Device/Geo/Custom targeting, Roadblocks/CPM/Programmatic.
Responsible for - Driving revenue growth for Truecaller by building ads solutions and selling our ads offerings to our advertiser partners in India and outside.
As an Ad Operations - Manager , you’ll be responsible for campaign management activities such as campaign set-up, QA, campaign optimizations, performance reporting. You’ll identify and implement optimizations based on data analysis/trends and provide input in the construction of client decks and status documentation. You will be expected to troubleshoot issues with advertisers/platforms when they arise to find solutions.
The candidate for this role must have a data-driven approach and an ability to multi-task with an eye for detail is a must. Additionally, candidates should have a creative and entrepreneurial drive and be excited to work in a fast paced environment while thinking quickly on their feet.
What you bring in:
4 + Years of experience working with Programmatic Advertising Technologies (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Deal IDs, RTB etc.) and Performance Advertising/Marketing (CPI, CPA, CPL, CPS etc.)
Understanding and Experience working with 3rd Party Tracking platforms (MMPs) such as Appsflyer, Branch, Singular, Adjust etc. and able to analyze data, troubleshoot issues with tracking parameters.
In-depth knowledge of ad-server, ad networks and the online advertising industry.
Comfort with Microsoft Excel and ability to consolidate information and work with multiple data points.
Experience in setting up campaigns and managing the campaign performance independently
Understanding of Google Ad Manager / ad-server and campaign configuration on such ad-server’s
Understanding upper funnel (brand messaging, calls to action) and lower funnel (direct response, conversion) campaign tactics
Knowledge/keeping track of the latest trends associated with online marketing like PMP, RTB, Video, App and Native advertising operations.
Experience optimizing campaigns to perform against brand awareness and direct-response KPIs (VCR/viewability/CPA/CPI/CPL etc).
Experience in strategic audience work
Strong understanding of data landscape and utilization (1st party, 2nd/3rd party)
Experience with multiple third-party verification partners such as Moat, IAS, and Double Verify.
Experience with various third-party tag specs including brand studies, DMPs, etc.
Experience with troubleshooting discrepancies, creative tag setup issues, delivery issues and other issues from a technical support perspective
Ability to work well independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines as well as being highly responsive to clients
Highly self-motivated and well-organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative, independent problem solver.
Strong process, organizational and time management skills.
The impact you will create:
Complete responsibility of portfolio of campaigns – P&L target achievement
Setup programmatic Campaign proposals on ad servers like GAM (Google Ad Manager) (previously known as DFP) or other ad-servers
Regular Monitoring of performance and optimization of campaigns owned
Experience optimizing campaigns to perform against brand awareness and direct-response KPIs (VCR/viewability/CPA/CPI/CPL etc).
Experience working with MMP and DMP partners, ability to understand and analyze performance measurement metrics.
Analyzing historical performance data to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and maximize ROI/ROAS
Ensure ad creative adheres to technical specifications and troubleshoot creative issues that affect implementation, tracking and/or reporting
Experience in strategic audience work
Strong understanding of data landscape and utilization (1st party, 2nd/3rd party)
Resolve issues that arise including reporting discrepancies, creative policing, trafficking requirements
Assisting in the development of client-facing campaign performance reports
Identify and quantify key challenges for campaign performance
Work with sales team (both pre & post) and provide them with audience insights
Proactively engaging with team to understand the existing model and new feature introduction in detail
Provide inputs to analytics team from Ops team on new requirements
Working with Product Management and Engineering to ensure smooth feature roll out and issue resolutions
It would be great if you also have:
2 years of experience in Internet/online advertising industry, especially on the programmatic side.
Success in fast-paced environments, especially managing multiple clients
Experience of interacting with clients and participation in QBRs for large clients
Experience using systems like Salesforce, Order management systems.
