Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished and passionate individual to join us as the Director – Business Development. The ideal candidate will spearhead our mission to acquire B2B buyers globally and guide them through the procurement process via our platform. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients, providing bespoke, value-driven solutions.
- Formulate and implement an effective customer engagement strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Order Acquisition:
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to promote factori.com's solutions and secure product orders.
- Apply persuasive communication and negotiation skills to drive successful deal closures.
Leadership in Business Development:
- Motivate and guide a team of Business Development Managers and Representatives, instilling a culture of excellence and customer focus.
- Mentor the team to meet their goals and deliver unparalleled customer experiences.
Strategic Account Growth:
- Collaborate with different teams within the company to uncover growth opportunities within existing strategic accounts.
- Develop and implement plans to foster business expansion with key clients and boost customer lifetime value.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Harness data to monitor customer success metrics, discern trends, and apply insights to enhance customer experiences.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, offering data-backed suggestions for continuous improvement.
Client Advocacy:
- Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and influencing product and service improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is preferable.
- Proven experience in business development leadership or account management roles, preferably within a B2B or procurement-related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong relationships at all levels.
- Proven track record in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using data and insights for strategic decision-making.
- Proven ability to secure orders and meet sales targets.
