We are a Great Place to Work certified organization, with employees and contributors working from various corners of the globe The  Opportunity Location: Remote Experience:  6 months in news or journalism graduate Role: Internship We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and detail-oriented Newsletter Intern to help produce a US-focused health and wellness news product. If you have an instinct for what makes readers click, love keeping up with current affairs, and enjoy crafting smart, engaging copy—this is for you. Key Responsibilities Assist in curating and producing daily and weekly newsletter editions focused on health, wellness, and related lifestyle news. Write concise, compelling summaries from multiple news sources with accuracy and clarity. Stay on top of the latest stories across health, science, wellness trends, and US news. Handle social media accounts of the newsletters. Support the team in optimizing content, formatting, and newsletter engagement strategies. Learn and contribute to newsletter growth processes—from sourcing content to analyzing open rates. Collaborate closely with editors and leadership to refine content quality and audience experience. Requirements A journalism, communications, or media graduate, or someone with at least 6 months of newsroom/newsletter experience. Preferably from a Literature or Media background. Have a voracious appetite for news—you’re comfortable consuming content all day to pick what’s most important, interesting, and useful. Possess flawless written and verbal communication skills. Have exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with the flexibility to switch between tasks and priorities daily. Creative, persuasive, and motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing, and entrepreneurial environment. Prior experience in the newsletter business is an added advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for tight, reader-friendly writing. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable multitasking under deadlines. Curious, creative, and eager to learn how digital media and newsletter publishing work.
