A Customer Service Assistant is a vital frontline professional who interacts directly with customers to provide assistance, address inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience. This role supports the overall customer service efforts of a company by facilitating smooth communication between customers and the business.

  1. Key Responsibilities

  2. Responding to Customer Inquiries:

  3. Handle questions related to products, services, pricing, policies via multiple channels such as phone, email, live chat, or social media.
  4. Provide accurate, clear, and timely information to customers.
  5. Issue Resolution:
  6. Address and resolve complaints, service disruptions, billing issues, and technical problems promptly.
  7. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments.
  8. Order Processing:
  9. Take and process customer orders, track shipments, and update customers on order status.
  10. Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds following company policies.
  11. Record Keeping and Documentation:
  12. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  13. Log complaints, feedback, and resolutions to support process improvements.
  14. Providing Feedback:
  15. Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to management or relevant teams.
  16. Assist in identifying trends and suggesting improvements to customer service.
  17. Supporting Sales Efforts:
  18. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services that suit customer needs.
  19. Collaboration:
  20. Work closely with technical support, marketing, and sales teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
  21. Support continuous improvement initiatives in customer service operations.

  23. Communication:

  24. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  25. Active listening to understand customer needs effectively.
  26. Problem-Solving:
  27. Ability to quickly analyze situations and provide appropriate solutions.
  28. Patient and empathetic when dealing with frustrated customers.
  29. Technical Proficiency:
  30. Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot).
  31. Familiarity with help desk tools, live chat platforms, email management, and basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  32. Multitasking and Time Management:
  33. Handle multiple customer interactions and administrative tasks simultaneously.
  34. Attention to Detail:
  35. Ensure accuracy in order processing and record keeping.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,767.24 per month
