1. International Market Development

  • Identify and develop new overseas markets for ores, minerals, and ferro alloys through market research, trade data analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Track demandsupply trends, global pricing, and policies in target markets (Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, etc.).
  • Explore opportunities with traders, steel plants, foundries, battery, welding, ceramics, and chemical industries.

2. Sales & Business Expansion

  • Generate new business inquiries, prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales contracts.
  • Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms) within company guidelines.
  • Support management in achieving monthly and annual export/import sales targets.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, agents, and distributors.
  • Ensure timely communication, product updates, and after-sales support for long-term partnerships.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B events to promote the companys product portfolio.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Coordinate with logistics, CHA, and shipping lines for export documentation, LC, BL, COO, and customs clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with DGFT, EXIM policies, shipping regulations, and buyer country import norms.
  • Track export incentives, duty structures, and government schemes relevant to minerals and alloys trade.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with the production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of export orders.
  • Maintain updated MIS reports on international sales pipeline, customer status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on global market trends and competitor activities.

  • Successfully developed and managed export markets across Middle East, South-East Asia, and Europe for ores, minerals, and ferro alloys.

Sales & Marketing Execution

  • Prepared and finalized quotations, proforma invoices, and sales agreements in line with INCOTERMS.

Client Relationship Management

  • Handled after-sales service including claims, replacements, and technical support coordination.

Export-Import Documentation & Compliance

  • Managed end-to-end documentation: Letter of Credit, Bill of Lading, COO, Customs, and DGFT compliance.
  • Coordinated with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks for smooth shipment handling.
  • Monitored compliance with buyer country import norms, export incentives, and duty structures.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

  • Worked with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Prepared periodic MIS reports on sales pipeline, customer database, and competitor activity.

  • Experience:
  • 2-6 years of experience in international marketing, exportimport, or commodity trading.
  • Exposure to ores, minerals, ferro alloys, or metals industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience in handling international clients, distributors, or trading houses will be an added advantage.
  • Domain Knowledge:
  • Understanding of ores (manganese, iron, chromite, bauxite), minerals, and ferro alloys.
  • Familiarity with global market trends, INCOTERMS, export documentation, and trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and DGFT policies.

Technical & Commercial Skills:

  • Ability to prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize export orders.
  • Proficiency in export documentation (LC, BL, COO, Invoice, Packing List).
  • Strong in Excel, MIS reporting, and CRM tools for client management.

Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven international business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for pricing and market research.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for exhibitions, client meetings, and trade
